What is Travelscream.com?
Travelscream.com is an RSS – Really Simple Syndication (or Syndicated Content) application.
RSS is a new web-based technology that allows a specific site, in this case travelscream.com,
to feed requested information to a group of subscribers automatically. That information is
delivered directly to your desktop. As the user, you are able to create your own, personal
resource that fits exactly your travel expertise and focus. Travelscream.com (the RSS) differs
from e-mail or a traditional website in that subscribers actually choose preferred content
that is sent to their travelscream.com “Travel Reader.” The Travel Reader allows access to a
specific feed so that content is delivered directly to you. Using travelscream.com to subscribe
to the Travel Reader takes only a couple of minutes, and does not involve a registration fee. After
you have subscribed to travelscream.com, and developed your personal travel profile, information
will begin to flow to your Travel Reader – located right on your computer desktop.
